2015 Week in the Life (Thursday)

Today I'm going to phrase things in some days/most days.

Some days I write a portion of the book of James as part of my Bible study. I love those days.

Most days Boss finds ways to share his belly laughs.
Most days lately Boss chews on his nails. Most days it drives me nuts.
Some days, not many, I sneak in and watch someone nap. I love it every time.
Some days I have big realizations, like seeing my 4 year old doesn't know how to use scissors.
Some days our entry is clean. Some days it's super messy. Today, it's in between.
Most days there are injuries during play. Today was one of those days.
Some days these kids do imaginative play in her bedroom.
Some days we go to New Seasons. Every time we get samples. Chicken soup for today.
Rarely, I read stories for nap. Most days Jude does nap time ritual with Boss. Missing my older boys.
Some days I do Sissy's nails. And she never fails to get excited about it. Hot coral was her choice for today.
Most days I spoon peanut butter directly out of the container. It's what people do when they can't have sugar. They eat straight fat instead.
Some days we exfoliate our feet together.
Some days I wake up early enough to document some memories into albums. Some days I'm in a creative rut. Today was that day.
Some days I cut Sissy's nails. Some days she files her own.
Most days Sissy glows from the inside out.

Some days she waits patiently for me to join her.
Some days my kids remember to brush their teeth in the morning.
Most days she must color or draw something. Today it was a Christmas tree. She fretted over the star on top and eventually asked me to draw it.

Most days she has this much energy. No days do I have this much energy. It's an unfair distribution of energy.

Some days my kids eat their meal with excitement. I'm so grateful for those days. More of those days now that I've eliminated their snacking.
Some days Boss lays on the floor and draws stick figures. And then we make stickers out of the drawings.
