Yay For Nice Weather!!

The boys and I took full advantage of the weather yesterday (that, and I didn't know what else to do with 2 restless, sniffly kids that I couldn't bring around others). Samuel taught Jude how to blow bubbles - too cute! Jude showing off his crinkly face.
Yay for coordination! Jude tried to get this piece of cereal with George's Chuckit.
Think I need to cut his hair?
Here's the boys blowing bubbles.
Forgive the terrible Photoshopping here - still a very sweet picture of them looking so serious!
What wouldn't I give for those lashes?!
Last night I headed out to a Meditteranean restaurant in Oregon City - I forget the name of it (maybe Sarah can comment on this post and insert the name of the restaurant). It had good food and a great ambiance. I would highly recommend it - we both got the appetizer platter with hummus, baba ganouj, falafal, and all the other stuff that goes on those platters. Sarah even branched out and ordered a Turkish coffee. Although not as thick as she would have liked, I think she wasn't mad about ordering it. We then headed to Dutch Bros. and shortly thereafter, searched in vain for a scone (I love them at all hours!) - we went to three different Starbucks and Peet's where I settled unhappily on an oatmeal raisin cookie. Then we headed to get a box of very special teas and finally home. What a great evening! My boys ate a pizza and watched movies in my absence - I think they rather enjoyed it.
I must throw a comment out about American Idol. Why did they sing "Shout to the Lord?" It's not a pop song and it's not a Christian show. Any thoughts? Another thing that REALLY threw me off was Michael Johns getting the boot. Really? I have thought from the beginning of the show that he's too good for American Idol - perhaps I'm right. Although I don't think he needs that show to find his success.
