I've decided to document our every day in December (at least up until Christmas). I'm using my blog as a reminder of what happened on those days. I'm trying to use a story for each day. Yesterday's story was about family time and writing letters to Santa.
Family time because we all went to deliver cookie dough to the west side New Seasons stores. We should have been doing homeschool and just had Colin do deliveries, but since he has been gone 3 days out of 4, I felt it important that we hang out as a family. We ended the deliveries at the Cabella's in Tualatin. The kids loved the fish and all the dead stuffed animals all over. Colin didn't love the inflated prices, so he didn't buy anything. After rest time, Sissy and I headed to Costco and Trader Joe's and when we got back, everyone wrote letters to Santa.
Boss, for the first time ever, showed an interest in coloring. He wants a tractor for Christmas and after Colin drew him one, he colored it for quite awhile.
Boss insisted on wearing his working helmet during the deliveries.
I'm using this photo of Jude writing to Santa as my cover page for December 1 in my album. I love it. He looked at a couple of Lego books and started copying the Lego sets he really wanted onto his Santa letter.
Here is Jude at Cabela's looking at the fish.
