Day 20 was all about wrapping! My body has finally reached it's limit, so my energy has tanked the last couple of days (too many late nights and early mornings sewing presents). When I have stuff to do and not the energy to do it, I let my kids help. Most of the time, my kids love the tasks I give them because they are generally things adults do, so they feel grown up. Will the packages be wrapped super pretty? Probably not, but they will be wrapped with love. I also let them make tags with my scrapbook paper and stamps and markers. They loved having new, special supplies to work with and I loved having the help.
Here is boss holding his tag:
We popped "Home Alone" on and started wrapping.
Here is Sissy writing "Merry Christmas" on her tag. She didn't want to quit this craft time when we had to move onto wrapping (she's like me - she never wants to stop creating).
And here are the wrapping papers Sissy and I chose this year. TJ Maxx has the best quality papers.
I'm so surprised I haven't had issues coming up with things to take pictures of this month. I'm still trying to decide if I'm going all the way to the 31st (Samuel's birthday) or just stop after the 25th.
