December Daily - Day 6

Yesterday was about time together. I journaled right onto the main Day 6 photo. We did puzzles, cleaned Aunt Michelle's chicken coup, house and helped her decorate for Christmas. We went to church together. It was a busy day, but a good one. I did sneak off to Zumba and hired a babysitter in the morning. Doing 48 hours alone with the kids requires a bit of a break.

My aunt gave the kids jobs and since Sissy didn't bring her boots to clean the chicken coup, she was given the job of decorating for Christmas - any way she wished. And as I watched her choose ornaments and arrange items in the window box, I realized that she gets decorating. I mean really gets it. She studied the placement of things and came up with things she wanted to hang. And for the first time I realized she really has a designer/artist talent. I'm going to say it now - I imagine her career will be bent this way.
