I really feel like this mask (which cost my insurance company over $2,000) should not go to waste, beings that it caused me so much anxiety and all. So, today Samuel and I painted it neon pink. I kid you not when I say that I couldn't find a more vibrant pink if I tried :).
I deliberately masked off the taped areas where they wrote words like "block" (for where they blocked radiation from those parts of my body) and specifics like my name and what position I was to be in each day. Another good reason to preserve this mask and hang it on my wall? I don't want to forget. Any of it. This was truly the hardest part of my cancer journey and I need to remember who God was for me to get through all those treatments. It's just a pretty pink reminder.

Sissy's BIG Hair.
As I was editing pictures last night from the last month or so, I had to immediately edit this one taken yesterday morning. Sissy is surely a handful lately, but usually her big hair makes everything pretty forgivable :).
