We took a camping trip to Paulina Lake for two nights this week - whew! That is a lot of work with four kiddos in tow. They all had a great time, though. And I am currently very appreciative of my shower, kitchen, and all the warm running tap water I could ever want :).
My favorite part was the hike we took to some natural rock water slides. Here is Boss, who really wanted to be like the big kids and slide quickly along the rocks. Barb could hardly hold him steady!
Lots of these down moments while camping.
Sissy and Grandma Barb are ready for the hike. This hike was an unknown length to us - our goal was to reach the rock water slides - it turned out to be about 1.5 miles each way! The kids did surprisingly well.
Boss loved the dirt. I mean there were dirt baths for fun.
Boss sampled the kid bikes - Sissy's Barbie bike is usually his favorite.
Boss + food = glee.
Food coma.
He looked so grown up in a baseball hat!
Jude and Samuel before the hike.
This is how Boss hiked. I wished I had ridden in a backpack by the end.
Rock slide!
Jude's turn!
Sissy sliding along. She would only go with Colin.
Jude and Sissy spent a good portion of time on their bikes this camping trip. They had lots of bonding time together.
This was at the rock water slide - I was pretty grateful for this cowboy hat - I forgot sunblock and my face would have exploded into freckles :)
Samuel slid down by himself.
This is Sissy's favorite pastime - riding her bike.
She also likes sitting on Grandpa's lap.
That's my girl - always toting her sunblock along.
This was a waterfall we came across on the hike - pretty, huh?

Wagner Photo Shoot
I was so honored when I was asked to photograph these sisters - honored and nervous. This shoot turned out to be so much fun, though. We were denied access to Oaks Park because we didn't set up an appointment and pay a fee to be photographed by the rides. We drove around Sellwood and found grassy, flower-y and otherwise funky locations. I never know what people's tastes are for pictures, so I tried to do a little bit of everything.
