Catch Up

It's been awhile since I posted - I blame it on the weather, the funk I've been in due to said weather, and the fact that the kids can't go play outside anymore. I'm beginning to see the beauty of wintering in Arizona or some other uber hot state. Here are some pics I'm loving of late:

Juliet's curls - where did she get them?! Juliet has become a fairly good kid in the car. Much better than the constant screaming she used to do.
Here's the boys before swimming lessons:
You have no idea how hard it is to keep this one occupied while the boys swim.

Jude always brings his blanket in the car and see how his thumb is out and ready for sucking? Sometimes I wonder when he will ever stop sucking his thumb.
Sissy decided to try out my new Hello Kitty earbuds (yes, I did actually spend money on a pair). This is what she does while I apply my makeup.

I bought her some My Little Ponies in the hopes of girling her up a bit - but the boys seem to play with them more.

Samuel Swims!

Just for my own records, Samuel swam all by himself during swim lessons yesterday! Here is evidence (super grainy, I know. It's the best I can do with a squirmy baby on my hip while shooting): Samuel crawls out of the water after he is released.
Here's is Jude learning how to dive in his Advanced Seal class:
Doggy paddle!
Jude retires to the small pool after his lesson and sits closely to his teacher, never socializing and rarely sliding down the slide.

Swimming Lessons.

I snapped some pictures this morning of the boys' second day of swimming lessons. Samuel has been talking about these lessons since I signed them up and goes to bed excited for the next morning. Jude, on the other hand, loathes going to them and takes a bit to warm up to the water. Jude did take full advantage of the water slide today.
And Jude was prancing by the end of the lesson.

Isn't he starting to look so grown up?

My two little "seals" are on the end.

Europe 2025. PDX to Rome, Day 1.

This trip was many months in the making. I actually love making travel plans and this one was no exception. The difference here was that t...
