Week in the Life 2017 (Monday)

Here we go on another Week in the Life annual photodocumenting project! This is a bit of a weird week as the charter school is out of session due to state testing, so our schedule is much more laid back.

7:15 p.m. Kids and I watch Doc Martin. Boss sits in a basket. This kid is fabulously ODD.

During school, Boss takes over the picture taking. I now realize this is the key to getting him into photos. He's learned the timer function and is taking full advantage.

Boss washes his hands, his bedwetting alarm still attached. He's been in no hurry to remove that thing in the mornings.

First thing in the morning - Colin checks on used cars on the internet, I check email for business orders.

As I drive Samuel to math placement testing at the charter school, Jude works on Language Arts.

This is what homeschool looks like these days - messy, chaotic. Rarely do we finish what's on that list on the white board in a day.

A side french braid for Sis. She's growing her hair out to donate and we are having fun braiding it every day.

A quiet moment by myself in the morning before everyone awakes.

I make quick cooking steel cut oats for the littles.

Breakfast looks like this. Older boys eat eggs and toast, the Littles eat oatmeal.

Naptime - I look at class schedules and options for next year at ACA.
